The Ukrainian Defense Forces launched missile strikes on two Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied Donetsk. One of them may have housed a command post of the Russian 51st Combined Arms Army.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by “Military” based on the results of GEOINT analysis of published videos.<\/p>\n

According to the publication, the missiles likely hit the parking lot of an unfinished residential complex and the building of the former UkrDerzhNIIplastmas research institute.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Russian military uses such large facilities for their own needs, in particular due to the presence of protected underground facilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Exilenova+ monitoring community reports that one of the attacked facilities may have housed a command post of the 51st Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, the OSINT community “CyberBoroshno” claims that six missiles hit the parking lot.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Russia formed the 51st Combined Arms Army in the summer of 2024 during the reorganization of the occupation forces. It was based on the former 1st Army Corps of the so-called “DPR”.<\/p>\n

The army included the 1st, 5th, 9th, 110th, 114th, and 132nd Motorized Rifle Brigades, as well as the 14th Artillery Brigade “Kalmius”.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, a series of explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Donetsk<\/a> . There are reports of strikes on several areas of the city, including a facility where the Russians could be assembling and storing drones. <\/p>\n
