Russia launched around 140 strike drones at Ukraine on August 27, more than 100 of them jet-powered. Most of the drones were directed at Kyiv.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to the military, the attack lasted from 07:00 to 19:00. During this time, Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed about 120 attack drones.<\/p>\n

As of 7:00 p.m., more than 10 jet attack drones remained in Ukrainian airspace.<\/p>\n

The Air Force emphasized that the data regarding the Russian attack is preliminary.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported that on the night of Thursday, August 27, Russian occupation forces attacked several regions of Ukraine at once with missiles and strike <\/a>drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, and Odesa. As a result of the attack, there were casualties and damage to residential buildings, an industrial enterprise, an educational institution, and other civilian infrastructure.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, in Kyiv, as a result of an attack by Russian troops, a direct hit by a Shahed rocket was recorded on the Valery Lobanovskyi Stadium.<\/a><\/p>\n
