Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has rejected US President Donald Trump’s decision to rename Lake Ontario “Lake America.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Carney stressed that the name of the lake has a centuries-old history. It comes from the Wendati word Ontari’io<\/strong> , which means “beautiful lake” or “great lake.”<\/p>\n
