In Ukraine, tariffs for basic utility services for the population will not change in September 2026. The government has not made any decisions on increasing the cost of electricity, gas, or water supply. At the same time, water prices depend on the specific supplier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Electricity tariff in September<\/h2>\n

For household consumers, electricity will continue to cost UAH 4.32 per kWh<\/strong> . This tariff will be in effect until at least October 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

The following prices apply to households with dual-zone meters:<\/p>\n

from 07:00 to 23:00 \u2014 4.32 UAH per kWh<\/strong> ;
from 23:00 to 07:00 \u2014 2.16 UAH per kWh<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

The preferential tariff of UAH 2.64 per kWh<\/strong> for homes with electric heating is applied during the heating season. It will again be effective from October 1 for the first 2,000 kWh.<\/p>\n

How much will gas cost?<\/h2>\n

In September, the price of gas for the population will also remain unchanged.<\/p>\n

Naftogaz of Ukraine customers will pay UAH 7.96 per cubic meter<\/strong> . This price is fixed from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.<\/p>\n

For existing customers, the transition to the tariff took place automatically, and new consumers can choose it when connecting.<\/p>\n

Annual offers from other gas suppliers for the population currently range from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

What will happen to water tariffs?<\/h2>\n

There is no single price for cold water and sewage in Ukraine. Tariffs are set separately for each water utility, so the amount depends on the specific settlement and supplier.<\/p>\n

Such tariffs are approved by the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Water Resources or local authorities, depending on which water utility is involved.<\/p>\n

Therefore, tariffs for cold water supply and wastewater will mostly remain at the level of February 2022.<\/p>\n

Water tariffs in Kyiv<\/h2>\n

From September 1, water tariffs in Kyiv will not change: the city authorities do not plan to revise or increase them<\/p>\n

Including VAT, one cubic meter of water and sewage costs UAH 30,384<\/strong> , including:<\/p>\n

water supply \u2014 16,164 UAH per cubic meter<\/strong> ;
drainage \u2014 14.22 UAH per cubic meter<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

In addition to paying for water consumed, a subscription fee is provided for Kyiv residents with individual contracts.<\/p>\n

In 2026, its maximum size is:<\/p>\n

water supply \u2014 47.19 UAH per month<\/strong> including VAT;
sewage \u2014 47.19 UAH per month<\/strong> including VAT.<\/p>\n

That is, the maximum subscription fee for both services is 94.38 UAH per month<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

Thus, in September, electricity and gas tariffs for the population will remain unchanged<\/strong> . The cost of cold water and sewage depends on the specific water utility.
