President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters. One of the main topics was the acceleration of the production of high-speed interceptor drones, which are intended to counter jet “shaheeds”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Zelensky, Ukraine already has manufacturers capable of performing this task. Prototypes of such drones have been developed, and work is currently underway to increase their efficiency to the required level.<\/p>\n

The President emphasized the importance of meeting the deadlines and thanked the developers and manufacturers for their work.<\/p>\n

The meeting also discussed the possibility of involving private business in the production, supply, and configuration of certain types of air defense systems. Specific tasks and deadlines for their implementation were identified for this area.<\/p>\n

Zelensky noted that Ukraine, together with its partners and its own defense industry, seeks to reach a level that will ensure a sufficient number and quality of high-speed interceptor drones and cheap missiles. This is necessary against the backdrop of Russia’s increase in the production of its own high-speed weapons.<\/p>\n

Separately, the situation with intelligence was considered at the General Staff. Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian intelligence has clear information about the plans of Russian troops, and available resources are directed to countering these threats.<\/p>\n

“We will also act asymmetrically. The corresponding operations have been approved,” the president said.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that on August 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, visited the Oleksandrivka direction<\/a> , where he met with the Ukrainian military and discussed strengthening defense and the needs of the units.<\/p>\n
