The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the dismissal of Ivan Fedorov from the post of Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and appointed him Head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development. The temporary performance of the duties of the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration was entrusted to the Deputy Head of the region, Mykhailo Semikin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The government has approved the dismissal of Ivan Fedorov from the post of head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration. The decision was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Serhiy Sukhomlyn from the post of head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development. He had headed the agency since September 2024. Ivan Fedorov was appointed to this position.<\/p>\n

In addition, the government dismissed Mykola Boyko from the position of First Deputy Head of the State Recovery Agency.<\/p>\n

The deputy head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Mykhailo Semikin, has been appointed<\/a> to temporarily perform the duties of the head of the region. The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Mykhailo Semikin<\/strong> was born on May 22, 1986 in Melitopol. In 2009-2016, he worked as a teacher at the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University.<\/p>\n

In 2016-2019, Semikin headed the culture department of the Melitopol City Council of the Zaporizhia region, and in 2019-2022 he was the head of the affairs of the executive committee of the Melitopol City Council.<\/p>\n

In 2022-2024, he worked as Deputy Mayor for the Activities of Executive Bodies of the Executive Committee of the Melitopol City Council. On May 1, 2024, Semikin was appointed Deputy Head of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration.<\/p>\n

Ivan Fedorov<\/strong> was born on August 29, 1988 in Melitopol, Zaporizhia Oblast. He received his education in economics and public administration, graduated from the Tavria State Agro-Technological University and studied at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.<\/p>\n

Fedorov began his career in local government in 2014 in Melitopol as deputy mayor. In 2019, he headed the transport infrastructure department of the Kyiv City State Administration, after which he returned to Zaporizhia Oblast and became the first deputy mayor of the regional state administration.<\/p>\n

Fedorov won the mayoral election of Melitopol in 2020. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he refused to cooperate with the occupying forces.<\/p>\n

On March 11, 2022, Russian military abducted Fedorov. On March 16, he was released as part of an exchange in which the Ukrainian side transferred 9 Russian conscripts to Russia. In February 2024, Fedorov headed the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and became the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA.<\/p>\n
