A Russian drone hit the central building of the Security Service of Ukraine on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv on Friday, September 4. According to preliminary data, the drone hit the office of the acting head of the SBU, Oleksandr Poklad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the strike occurred in the afternoon near the “Golden Gate” metro station. According to sources from<\/a> “Ukrainska Pravda”, the drone hit Poklad’s office directly, but the general himself was not there at the time of the attack.<\/p>\n

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had discussed the situation with Poklad. According to him, all emergency services have arrived at the scene of the attack, and the victims will be provided with the necessary assistance.<\/p>\n

“The drone was sent directly to the office of the head of the SBU in this building. I gave Poklad the task of adequately, noticeably and, if possible, mirroring the Russians’ response to this strike when everything is prepared. Our military will support this response,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.<\/p>\n

The day before, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported<\/a> a fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital as a result of a drone falling onto the roof of a non-residential building.<\/p>\n

Klitschko later clarified that the fire in a non-residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district had been extinguished. The ceiling and outer wall of the building were destroyed.<\/p>\n

“Emergency services continue to work on site. 9 people were injured as a result of a drone crash in the area. Of these, 7 were hospitalized by medics,” he said.<\/p>\n

Recall that Russian occupation forces attacked Odessa on the morning of September 4.<\/a> One person was killed and three others were injured as a result of the strike. Residential buildings and cars were damaged in the city.<\/p>\n

In total, Russia attacked Ukraine with a guided aircraft missile and over a hundred strike drones on the night of September 4.<\/a> Air defense forces neutralized most of the enemy targets.<\/p>\n
