US President Donald Trump said that his representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner went to Moscow with a proposal to end the war in Ukraine. According to him, American negotiators have done a lot of work and should try to reach an agreement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Witkoff and Kushner plan to present a proposal to Moscow to end the war,” Trump answered reporters’ questions during a press conference at the White House.<\/p>\n

The US president called Witkoff and Kushner “excellent negotiators who did a great job.”<\/p>\n

“It needs to be resolved. And I did. I sent Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, two great negotiators. They did a great job, and we sent them to see if we could reach some kind of agreement, and maybe we have a good chance of doing that,” the US president said.<\/p>\n

Trump also stated that there is a personal animosity between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, which, in his opinion, prevents the resolution of the war.<\/p>\n

“There is a problem in the relationship between Russia and Ukraine related to personality traits. Zelensky and Putin really hate each other. Do you know what hate is? It’s serious hate. This hate is hindering them,” Trump said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the US president once again stated that Putin does not plan to attack the territory of NATO countries.<\/p>\n

“I spoke to Putin, I know him very well. Putin is not going to attack NATO territory,” Trump said.<\/p>\n

The US President also recalled that, according to him, he has ended 8 wars, but has not yet received the Nobel Peace Prize.<\/p>\n
