On Sunday, September 6, Ukrainian No. 11 seed Marta Kostyuk will face Czech No. 6 seed Linda Noskova in the fourth round of the 2026 US Open. The high-stakes clash in New York will determine who advances to the quarterfinals of the Grand Slam tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The match will start no earlier than 19:30 Kyiv time.<\/p>\n

Linda Noskova is the reigning Wimbledon champion. In fact, she defeated Marta Kostyuk in the semifinals of that tournament in July of this year.<\/p>\n

However, a little earlier this year, Marta defeated Linda in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Madrid, which she subsequently won.<\/p>\n

So the score in personal meetings between the tennis players is now 1:1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Bookmakers estimate Kostyuk’s chances of winning the upcoming match at approximately 53%. Marta Kostyuk remains Ukraine’s only representative at the 2026 US Open, which could provide her with additional motivation.<\/p>\n

However, the match is expected to be difficult for both players. There are also plenty of arguments in favor of Linda Noskova.<\/p>\n
