During the conversation, both sides agreed on the need to continue working toward a ceasefire in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported on the UK government website.<\/p>\n<p> Trump and Burnham agreed to work together to achieve a ceasefire that would stop further loss of life.<\/p>\n<p> The British Prime Minister reaffirmed his support for Ukraine and the US-brokered peace talks.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, Burnham stated London&#8217;s readiness to continue working to establish peace and ensure security in the region.<\/p>\n<p> During the conversation, the parties also discussed a number of other international issues. These included the implementation of the two-state solution, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the need to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n<p> Incidentally, US Special Representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner made <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/vitkoff-i-kushner-zrobyly-pershi-zaiavy-pislia-perehovoriv-iz-zelenskym\/\">their first statements in Kyiv<\/a> after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. They emphasized the need not only to end the war but also to create conditions for long-term peace and the restoration of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, on Sunday, September 6, US President Donald Trump&#8217;s envoys <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/do-ukrainy-vpershe-prybuly-radnyky-trampa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Ukraine<\/a> .
