In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a 64-year-old man shot a 13-year-old boy because of the noise of a moped. The teenager was wounded in the chest and hospitalized.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the police and prosecutor’s office of the Dnipropetrovsk region.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on September 2 in a village in the Kamiansky district. According to investigators, the boy was riding a moped past a man’s house. The man became angry because of the noise from the road, took an air rifle, went out to the side of the road and shot at the moped.<\/p>\n

As a result, a 13-year-old boy received a chest wound. Medics provided him with assistance and took him to the hospital.<\/p>\n

After the incident, law enforcement officers searched the suspect’s house. They seized an air pistol and a rifle, as well as cartridges. The weapons and ammunition were sent for examination.<\/p>\n

A 64-year-old man was reported on suspicion of intentional grievous bodily harm under Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

He faces five to eight years in prison.<\/p>\n
