A Russian Shahed-class attack drone attacked a passenger train traveling from Kharkiv to Izyum, injuring seven people.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Izyum city military administration reported this.<\/p>\n

The attack occurred at a train station near the village of Iskra. A drone struck the rear of a train, causing a fire.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary reports, seven people\u2014passengers and railway workers\u2014were injured by the debris. Most of the injuries, according to Ukrzaliznytsia Chairman of the Board Oleksandr Pertsovsky, are minor. Ambulance crews are working at the scene.<\/p>\n

Pertsovsky noted that the train was stopped to evacuate passengers and staff.<\/p>\n

“We managed to save the crew and passengers from the worst. However, the debris scattered significantly,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

According to the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Russian troops are deliberately attacking passenger trains, and railway rolling stock and infrastructure are among the main targets in frontline regions.<\/p>\n

Pertsovsky urged passengers to immediately seek shelter during an evacuation. If there is no shelter, he advises moving at least 200 meters away from the train when it stops at a station or line.<\/p>\n

“Otherwise, you put yourself in mortal danger. These rules are written in blood,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n

Information about the consequences of the attack is still being clarified.<\/p>\n
