{"id":1437492,"date":"2026-09-09T14:44:35","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T11:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/trump-congratulated-the-far-right-afd-on-its-victory-in-the-german-elections\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T14:44:35","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T11:44:35","slug":"trump-congratulated-the-far-right-afd-on-its-victory-in-the-german-elections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/trump-congratulated-the-far-right-afd-on-its-victory-in-the-german-elections\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump congratulated the far-right AfD on its victory in the German elections."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>US President Donald Trump congratulated the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party on its victory in the elections in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> The American president wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p> Trump called the AfD&#8217;s result &#8220;a truly big night&#8221; and claimed that Germans were tired of the country&#8217;s immigration policies, which he believed had caused significant damage to Germany.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;They are on the rise and they are not going to take it anymore!&#8221; Trump wrote.<\/p>\n<p> The American president also concluded his message with the acronym MGGA \u2013 &#8220;Make Germany Great Again!&#8221; This is an adaptation of his well-known political slogan, MAGA (Make America Great Again).<\/p>\n<p> The AfD&#8217;s result in Saxony-Anhalt marks another regional success for the German far-right party.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/afd-peremohla-na-vyborakh-u-saksonii-anhalt-nimechchyni-vpershe-pislia-druhoi-svitovoi-zahrozhuie-ultrapravyy-uriad\/\">the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD),<\/a> which opposes support for Ukraine and advocates rapprochement with Russia, won the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt.
