Today, September 10, a weak G1-level magnetic storm is still possible, after which a short lull is expected, but on September 12, geomagnetic activity may increase again.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is evidenced by the forecast of the British Geological Survey (BGS).<\/p>\n<p> The current disturbance was caused by three coronal mass ejections that occurred on the Sun on September 5 and 6. Their impact is gradually weakening, but the speed of the solar wind still remains slightly elevated.<\/p>\n<p> On September 11, the geomagnetic situation should be mostly calm, and the probability of a magnetic storm will decrease.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, a new wave of activity is predicted for September 12. At high latitudes, the likelihood of auroras also increases.
