Strikes against Russia in August targeted air defense systems, logistics, and command posts of Russian troops. Over the course of the month, the Defense Forces destroyed 17 air defense units, six bridges, more than 20 warehouses, and over 30 command posts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

The department noted that throughout August, the Defence Forces systematically used middle strike weapons against enemy military targets at operational depth.<\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Defense, strikes on Russia in August hit a number of air defense facilities. A total of 17 air defense units<\/strong> were hit.<\/p>\n

Among the targets were the positions of the S-400 Triumph air defense system in the Gelendzhik region and in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, the Pantsir system in Yeysk, the Tor in the Rostov region, the Buk-M3 in the Luhansk region, and the Strela-10 in the Kremennaya region.<\/p>\n

Defense forces also destroyed Russian radar and electronic warfare systems. These included the Nebo-U radar in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, the Nebo-SV, Kasta, and Podlet radars, as well as the Peresvet-M electronic warfare system in Luhansk.<\/p>\n

A separate focus was attacks on Russian troop logistics. Over the course of a month, six bridges<\/strong> used to supply enemy units were hit.<\/p>\n

Among them are the Sivash railway bridges in the Chongar region, near Vladislavovka and Svetlodolynske, automobile bridges across the Seim River in the Kursk region and the Molochnaya River in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a crossing over the Mokry Yaly River in the Donetsk region.<\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Defense, in August, more than 20 warehouses<\/strong> of material and technical equipment and ammunition, as well as repair bases of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in the border regions of the Russian Federation, were hit.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Defence Forces carried out more than 30 strikes<\/strong> on command posts, storage sites and launch sites for attack UAVs.<\/p>\n

Ground-based repeaters used by Russian forces to control attack drones such as Geran and Gerber were also hit.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the systematic destruction of air defense systems, logistics, warehouses, and command posts reduces the capabilities of Russian troops and creates the conditions for subsequent attacks on their operational rear.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, earlier reports indicated<\/a> strikes by the Defense Forces on an S-400 system, a radar station, and Russian troop convoys. Among the targets hit were a command post vehicle from the S-400 “Triumph,” a communications center, and a UAV control center.<\/p>\n

Additionally, reports were released<\/a> of the destruction of a road bridge over the Molochnaya River and three enemy UAV convoys. Ukrainian forces also destroyed a strike drone control relay and a UAV control center.<\/p>\n

Earlier, it was reported<\/a> that seven important Russian military targets had been hit, including a munitions depot, five UAV control posts, and a Russian military command post.<\/p>\n
