Law enforcement officers recorded some violations, including the seizure of cannabis, but they did not affect the course of the events.<\/p>\n<p> Pilgrims began celebrating Rosh Hashanah on the night of September 11. Prayers are held in the city, Hasidim visit synagogues, and a large communal prayer, Tikkun ha-Klali, is planned for the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier, representatives of the International Charitable Foundation named after Rabbi Nachman from Breslau reported that as of this morning, more than 45,000 people had arrived in Uman. Later, the number of pilgrims exceeded 50,000.<\/p>\n<p> Most of the guests came from Israel. Hasidim from the USA, Canada, and European countries also come to Uman.<\/p>\n<p> Uman is one of the main pilgrimage sites for Bratslav Hasidim. Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav, the founder of Bratslav Hasidism, is buried in the city. Every year on Rosh Hashanah, his followers come to the grave of the spiritual leader.<\/p>\n<p> This year, Rosh Hashanah falls on September 11\u201313. According to the Jewish calendar, the year 5787 has begun.
