According to Ukrainian intelligence, the enemy has a list of about 50 gas stations in Kyiv and Kyiv region that could be targets for attacks. At the same time, military experts warn that other civilian infrastructure could also be at risk.

This was reported by military intelligence officer Denys Yaroslavsky and military expert Oleg Zhdanov in a commentary for Focus.

According to Yaroslavsky, the Russians have already identified specific gas stations they plan to strike. He believes that the goal of such attacks is not only to inflict economic damage, but also to increase psychological pressure on Ukrainians.

“We have a list of planned enemy targets — there are about fifty gas stations, including in Kyiv and the Kyiv region,” the intelligence officer said.

He also noted that protecting gas stations remains a problem. Among possible solutions, Yaroslavskyi mentioned the development of private air defense systems and moving part of the gas station infrastructure underground.

According to Zhdanov, the list of potential targets could be much wider. Russia could try to strike bridges, waterworks, and sewage treatment plants. At the same time, the enemy may not attack some objects due to the risk of receiving retaliatory strikes.

The expert emphasizes that Ukraine needs to develop its own means of defense against drones more quickly. In particular, we are talking about the mass production of interceptor drones, which could become one of the ways to counter the new Russian tactics.

According to Yaroslavsky, strikes on civilian infrastructure have another goal – to exhaust the population with constant night attacks and force people to leave large cities.

As a reminder, Russian occupation forces attacked Kyiv with drones on the morning of September 11. Two Ukrnafta gas stations in different areas of the capital were hit.

As previously reported, a Russian drone attacked a gas station in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, injuring three people . Fires also broke out at the scene, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers.

It should be noted that information has been circulating on social media about possible strikes by Russian forces with drones on more than 20 gas stations in Kyiv. Residents of the capital are urged not to be near gas stations during an air raid alert.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , X , Telegram , and Instagram.

Russia may expand attacks on Ukrainian gas stations.
