Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is ready to come to Miami and meet with Vladimir Putin if he attends the G20 summit in December. The Kremlin said that a possible trip by Putin to the summit has not yet been discussed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He spoke about this in an interview with DW<\/a> .<\/p>\n

“Yes, of course. We have to come. We have to meet, talk and make a decision,” Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n

According to him, the main outcome of a potential meeting should be concrete decisions, not words.<\/p>\n

“It’s not about words. What I tell him or what he wants to tell me doesn’t matter. Results matter,” the president emphasized.<\/p>\n

Zelensky also said that Ukraine is now in a better position for possible negotiations than it was a year ago. He noted that Russia is losing more than 30,000 troops every month and is paying a high price for minor advances on the front.<\/p>\n

The President announced that he discussed a possible ceasefire in the energy sector and the transportation of grain through the Black Sea with US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.<\/p>\n

“Energy and grain. This is step number one. What we can achieve,” Zelensky said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov said that the issue of his possible trip to Miami had not yet been discussed.<\/p>\n

“As for the possibility of Putin’s trip, we haven’t even discussed this issue yet,” Ushakov said.<\/p>\n

According to him, preparations for the summit are currently underway at the expert level, and Russia is working on relevant documents. He also noted that Russia’s contacts with the United States are continuing.<\/p>\n
