Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed 3 decrees implementing the NSDC’s decision on new sanctions, including against former presidential press secretary Yulia Mendel. The restrictions also applied to vessels of the Russian shadow fleet, Rostec enterprises, and individuals whom Ukraine accuses of spreading Russian propaganda.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Office of the President.<\/p>\n

Sanctions were imposed against 10 Russian and Ukrainian individuals who, according to Ukrainian authorities, are spreading disinformation, Russian propaganda, and supporting Russia’s aggressive policies. This list includes Yulia Mendel<\/strong> , who served as press secretary to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from 2019 to 2021.<\/p>\n

A separate decision imposed sanctions on 20 Russian shadow fleet vessels<\/strong> . According to Ukrainian authorities, they are used to export Russian oil, petroleum products, and liquefied gas to India, Egypt, and Turkey.<\/p>\n

Another decision imposed sanctions against 29 Russian citizens and 29 Russian companies<\/strong> associated with the state corporation Rostec. The list includes enterprises involved in the production of missiles, drones, electronics, high-precision equipment, and dual-use goods.<\/p>\n

Also subject to restrictions are research organizations, enterprises that develop technical documentation for the Russian military-industrial complex, and an educational institution that trains specialists for the enterprises of the Kalashnikov concern.<\/p>\n

Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasyuk stated that Rostec enterprises provide a significant part of the weapons and military equipment for the war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“Ukraine will transfer all information to partners to synchronize sanctions in international jurisdictions,” the President’s Office noted.<\/p>\n
