The Anti-Corruption Action Center stated that Ruslan Kravchenko had left the country. The Prosecutor General himself explained that his trip was on official business.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Anti-Corruption Action Center reported<\/a> on the Prosecutor General’s departure.<\/p>\n

According to the Center for Combating Corruption, before leaving, Kravchenko recorded a video message in which he alleged possible crimes committed by NABU Director Semyon Krivonos and a person close to the head of the SAP.<\/p>\n

The Center questioned the procedural validity of the suspicions voiced by Kravchenko. They noted that it is not yet clear whether the corresponding suspicions exist in a procedural sense and whether they will have legal consequences.<\/p>\n

Kravchenko subsequently revealed<\/a> that he was indeed outside of Ukraine. He stated that he had gone on a business trip abroad<\/strong> , during which a number of meetings with international partners were planned.<\/p>\n

“I am currently on a business trip abroad, and a series of meetings are planned during which I intend to inform international partners about the real state of affairs within the anti-corruption system, the signs of their uncontrolled concentration of influence, and the risks such practices pose to state sovereignty, the rule of law, and Ukraine.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As a reminder, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced that he had signed a notice of suspicion for NABU Director Semyon Krivonos<\/a> .<\/p>\n

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed<\/a> to the Verkhovna Rada to immediately support the resignation of Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Kravchenko submitted his resignation<\/a> from the post of Prosecutor General in the wake of the NABU and SAP operation Carthage.<\/p>\n

As part of this operation, NABU and SAP exposed a criminal organization<\/a> whose members, according to investigators, systematically received illegal benefits from fraudulent call centers and laundered the proceeds.<\/p>\n

The High Anti-Corruption Court also selected a preventive measure<\/a> for Sergei Kropiv, an official of the Prosecutor General’s Office, suspected of protecting a network of fraudulent call centers and laundering property.<\/p>\n
