On the night of September 15, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Syzran Oil Refinery in the Samara Region of the Russian Federation and the Atlant Aero enterprise in Taganrog, which produces drones for the Russian army. Hits and fires were recorded at both facilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

A hit and subsequent fire were recorded on the territory of the Syzran Oil Refinery. According to the General Staff, the AVT-6 primary oil processing unit and the tank farm were hit.<\/p>\n

The Syzran Refinery is part of Rosneft and can process about 8.9 million tons of oil per year<\/strong> . The enterprise produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, and other petroleum products and, according to the General Staff, meets the needs of the Russian army.<\/p>\n

The Atlant Aero enterprise in Taganrog was also hit. Explosions and a fire were recorded on its territory.<\/p>\n

The enterprise specializes in the production of drones and components for them. In particular, they manufacture the Molniya strike and reconnaissance UAVs and components for the Orion drones.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also reported<\/a> on new results of Ukrainian strikes on Russian targets.<\/p>\n

“Russia continues to attack our energy, conventional logistics, and critical infrastructure. And our responses to them for this are tangible,” he noted.<\/p>\n

Zelensky announced the hit on a drone training and launch site in the Oryol region of the Russian Federation and the destruction of targets in the Black Sea.<\/p>\n

In addition, the General Staff clarified the results of the September 13 strike on the Slavyansk EKO refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. The destruction of three tanks and damage to eight tanks<\/strong> were confirmed.<\/p>\n

“Work on key enemy targets continues,” the General Staff emphasized.<\/p>\n

Recall, the day before, US President Donald Trump said<\/a> that Ukraine agreed not to attack Russian energy facilities, and Russia agreed to do the same.<\/p>\n
