Currently, 92% of base stations can operate without electricity for up to eight hours, and 67% for more than three days thanks to generators.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/thedigital.gov.ua\/news\/zviazok-ta-internet\/naskilky-telekom-merezi-hotovi-do-zymy-mintsyfra-operatory-ta-hromady-vidpratsiuvaly-alhorytm-diyi-pid-chas-blekautiv\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that to ensure the operation of the networks, operators have purchased generators, and utility companies have learned how to connect them to base stations.<\/p>\n<p> The readiness of mobile networks is regularly tested during special exercises. Almost all regions have already practiced interaction between operators, local authorities and communities. During such tests, the speed of repair crews&#8217; departure, access to base stations and the launch of generators are assessed.<\/p>\n<p> For example, in the Mykolaiv region, 44 communities, 74 mobile brigades, and 93 base stations were involved in the exercises.<\/p>\n<p> Some regions have already tested the network&#8217;s resilience during real power outages. After the massive attack on August 9, power supply in Odessa was unstable for almost three days. At the same time, the mobile network was maintained at a level of over 71%.<\/p>\n<p> According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the largest number of generators was received by Volyn, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, and Sumy regions. Among cities, the largest number of such installations was received by Sumy, Zaporizhia, and Odesa.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, Kyiv is preparing <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/blekauty-vzymku-u-kyievi-hotuiut-mistsia-dlia-tymchasovoho-prozhyvannia-liudey\/\">places for temporary relocation of over 200,000 residents in case of prolonged winter blackouts<\/a> .
