According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the document was supported by 313 parliamentarians.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/yzheleznyak\/19808\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> People&#8217;s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n<p>The draft law supplements the Criminal Code with a separate article on electronic communications fraud. This refers to the illegal collection, storage, processing, and use of personal and banking data to seize someone else&#8217;s money or property through deception using electronic communications.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, this applies <strong>to details of payment cards and other payment instruments, authorization codes and other information containing banking secrets<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>The document also establishes criminal liability for <strong>the creation and management of an electronic communications fraudulent organization, as well as participation in it<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>Such actions are punishable <strong>by 7 to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>Bill No. 10190 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on October 25, 2023. In May 2024, the parliament supported it in the first reading, and on September 14, 2026, the relevant Committee on Law Enforcement Activities recommended adopting the document in the second reading and as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, the SBU and the National Police previously <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/sbu-ta-natspolitsiia-vykryly-94-shakhrayski-kol-tsentry-vylucheno-ponad-2-mln-i-elitni-avto\/\">exposed 94 fraudulent call centers<\/a> in various regions of Ukraine.
