Temporary restrictions were also imposed on the operation of Lublin and Rzeszow airports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DowOperSZ\/status\/2100085950139318591\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces and the Polish Government Security Center.<\/p>\n<p> The Polish military noted that the measures were preventive in nature and were aimed at protecting the country&#8217;s airspace.<\/p>\n<p> Due to the threat, residents of the Lublin and Podkarpacie voivodeships received SMS messages from the Government Security Center about the air alert and the operation of military aviation.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were placed on high alert.<\/p>\n<p> The Polish Operational Command subsequently announced the completion of the operation. Military aviation ceased operations, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems returned to normal operation.<\/p>\n<p> According to the Polish military, no violations of Polish airspace were recorded during the operation.<\/p>\n<p> Due to the activity of military aircraft, the operation of the airports in Lublin and Rzesz\u00f3w was briefly restricted. After the operation was completed, the airports resumed operation.<\/p>\n<p> As previously reported, the Polish military did not immediately realize during the Russian attack that a Ukrainian MiG-29 was operating near the border. Because of this, the plane could have come under \u201cfriendly fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, Poland <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/polshcha-vidreahuvala-na-masovanu-ataku-rf-u-povitria-pidnialy-viyskovu-aviatsiiu\/\">deployed military aircraft in its airspace on the night of September 8 due to the activity of Russian long-range aircraft<\/a> , which were striking Ukraine.
