It is noted that this is a matter of a few missiles, not a large-scale transfer. The Commander of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, General Ireneusz Nowak, confirmed that the number of ammunition has already been determined, but this information is classified.<\/p>\n

Warsaw is discussing the issue of transferring missiles to Ukraine with its NATO allies, in particular the United States.<\/p>\n

Poland would also like to receive drone and missile technology from Ukraine in exchange for the transferred weapons. However, according to Rzeczpospolita, negotiations on this issue have reached an impasse.<\/p>\n

General Nowak said that Warsaw could transfer to Kyiv Soviet weapons still in service with the Polish army. According to him, they could be useful to Ukraine even if they needed major repairs.<\/p>\n

The Polish Ministry of Defense confirmed that they are preparing another package of military assistance to Ukraine. Its volume will depend on Poland’s security needs and the available resources of the Polish Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

The new package plans to include weapons and equipment that the Polish army is decommissioning or will no longer use, but which Ukraine may need. At the same time, the detailed composition of the aid is not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Previously, Poland had already transferred five PAC-3 MSE missiles for Patriot systems to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Poland is preparing a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth a total of 50 million euros.<\/a> Part of the funds will be directed to air defense equipment.<\/p>\n
