Nova Poshta will suspend operations at branches, terminals, depots and other logistics facilities during air alerts, regardless of the type of threat. In addition, the company is implementing its own monitoring system, which will allow it to suspend operations at individual facilities even without an official alert.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company reported<\/a> this in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Nova Poshta emphasized that after an air raid alert is declared, all work processes will be immediately suspended, and employees must move to the nearest shelter.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople\u2019s lives and safety are our absolute priority. In the event of an airstrike, regardless of the type of threat, a clear and unbreakable algorithm applies: all work processes are immediately stopped, and employees move to the nearest shelter,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Nova Poshta is implementing its own system for monitoring potential threats. If it detects a danger to a specific branch, depot, or terminal, its work may be suspended even without an official air alert being declared<\/strong> in the city or region.<\/p>\n

To ensure that forced stops have less impact on delivery times, the company plans to hire additional staff, redistribute the load between facilities, and change logistics routes.<\/p>\n

Nova Poshta is also continuing its transition to a decentralized fulfillment model. Operations and inventory will be distributed across multiple locations so that the company is less dependent on large logistics centers and can continue operations in the event of damage to them.<\/p>\n

The company does not disclose the specific locations of new facilities, inventory levels, and backup routes for security reasons.<\/p>\n

Recall, earlier “Pryamiy” wrote<\/a> that “Nova Poshta” is switching to a decentralized system for storing goods after Russian attacks on its logistics infrastructure.<\/p>\n
