US President Donald Trump will sign a law on sanctions against Russia and Iran on September 18. The document also allows for tariffs of up to 100% on countries that buy Russian oil and gas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by Radio Liberty correspondent Alek Raufoglu.<\/p>\n

According to him, the signing of the law is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.<\/strong> local time in the United States, or 11:30<\/strong> p.m. Kyiv time.<\/p>\n

The law provides for sanctions against Russia and Iran, and also gives the US president the authority to impose tariffs of up to 100% on countries that buy Russian oil and gas.<\/p>\n

As you know, on the night of September 17, Kyiv time, the US House of Representatives passed a bill on “hellish” sanctions against Russia<\/a> . Now it must be signed by US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, India stated that it would continue to purchase energy from various suppliers, despite the adoption of a new law on sanctions and tariffs by the US House of Representatives<\/a> . New Delhi emphasized the need to ensure the country’s energy security.<\/p>\n
