Ukraine has appealed to the governments of all countries where Russian cultural centers “Russian House” operate, calling on them to restrict their activities and completely close these centers. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said that the network poses a threat to national security.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n

“The cognitive dimension of modern warfare cannot be underestimated. Russia is waging a global struggle for people’s consciousness through an extensive network of tools and channels, in particular Rossotrudnichestvo and the so-called Russian House cultural centers. In fact, they serve as tools of disinformation, destabilization, and espionage,” Andriy Sybiga emphasized.<\/p>\n

The Minister also noted the actions of European countries to block the activities of this network. In particular, the “Russian House” was closed in Berlin.<\/p>\n

According to Sybiga, despite the closure of individual centers, such centers still operate in at least 7 European countries. The network also operates in Africa, Central and East Asia, the Asia-Pacific region, and South America.<\/p>\n

Ukraine called on governments around the world to recognize the threats that, according to the Foreign Ministry, the “Russian Houses” network poses, to limit its activities and completely close such centers.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russia announced the expansion of the network of \u201cRussian Houses\u201d in 10 countries around the world<\/a> . New centers are planned to be created on the basis of local organizations, cultural centers, and universities.<\/p>\n
