The SBU&#8217;s military counterintelligence destroyed the Geran-5 jet drone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/V_Zelenskiy_official\/20963\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We have the second successful use of a new Ukrainian interceptor drone by the Security Service of Ukraine today,&#8221; Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n<p> The President added that SBU military counterintelligence fighters shot down a Russian jet drone &#8220;Geran-5&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?24\" data-telegram-post=\"V_Zelenskiy_official\/20963\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p> The day before, Zelenskyy <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/V_Zelenskiy_official\/20960\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">heard<\/a> a report by the head of the SBU, Oleksandr Poklad, and reported on the results of the work of military counterintelligence in countering the Shahed rockets.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;A new interceptor drone has been created and has already been successfully used. Step by step, we are moving to give Ukraine more protection. According to the developers, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/drony-pratsiuvatymut-v-umovakh-reb-v-ukraini-rozrobyly-novitniu-systemu-tsyfrovoho-zv-iazku\/\">the technology allows for the extension of the use of civilian UAVs at the front for up to 6\u20138 months.<\/a><\/p>\n<p> Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/novyy-zasib-ppo-proty-reaktyvnykh-shakhediv-ukrainski-drony-proyshly-boyovi-vyprobuvannia\/\">in Ukraine, two companies have successfully tested new interceptor drones<\/a> designed to combat Shahed jets.
