The Ukrainian hacker group Ukrainian Militant announced that it had obtained a large amount of technical documentation related to the development and modernization of Russian ships, vessels, and submarines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The group reported this on Telegram, calling the operation “Poseidon.”<\/p>\n

According to the hackers, they obtained materials covering the scientific, technical, design, testing, and operational base of Russian naval developments. The documents allegedly involve the Elektropribor Central Research Institute, the Rubin and Malakhit design bureaus, Okeanpribor, Elara JSC, the Vega concern, GNINGI, and other entities.<\/p>\n

The resulting array, according to Ukrainian Militant, contains data on the interaction of enterprises, the composition of production cooperation, stages of research and development work, testing, and the actual state of individual developments.<\/p>\n

Specifically, the materials cover marine and underwater navigation, integrated control systems, hydroacoustics, radio navigation, inertial navigation systems, digital hydrography, and cartography. The materials also allegedly contain information on marine robotics, autonomous navigation of underwater vehicles, hydrometeorological support, and Arctic shelf research.<\/p>\n

Among the systems and promising developments for which the hackers claim to have obtained documentation are the Symphony, Czardas, KAMA-NS-VK, Sprut-N1, Priliv, 14Ts217, AKNG\/PNG-23820, and ISU NK-23550. Also mentioned are the Kasatka, Veter, Bering, Conductor, Polygon, Andromeda, Archivarius, Almukantarat, and Sigal-M projects.<\/p>\n

Separately, Ukrainian Militant announced the receipt of documents on nuclear and diesel-electric submarines, frigates, corvettes, landing ships, and Arctic ships.<\/p>\n

In particular, the array allegedly contains materials regarding submarines of the 949AM Antey and 636.3 Varshavyanka projects, as well as ship projects 22350, 20386, 23550, 11711, 23770 and 23900. Navigation equipment, equipment placement, cable connections, information interfaces and test results.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian Militant also claims that the materials received include technical specifications and conditions, operating instructions, structural and functional diagrams, algorithms, testing programs and methods, as well as system acceptance documents.<\/p>\n

According to the group, some of the documentation is classified as “secret” and “top secret.”<\/p>\n

Overall, Ukrainian Militant stated that the documents concern military-scientific support for 70 ship, vessel, and submarine projects that are being built or modernized.<\/p>\n

At the same time, there is no independent confirmation yet of the completeness and authenticity of the entire data set claimed by the hackers. Ukrainian media also reported the acquisition of documentation for 70 projects, citing a statement from Ukrainian Militant.<\/p>\n
