Former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has not returned to the Prosecutor General’s Office as of 2:00 p.m. on September 21 after completing his overseas business trip. The official date of completion of his business trip is September 18.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by “Ukrainian Pravda”<\/a> .<\/p>\n

“The official end date of Ruslan Kravchenko’s business trip is September 18. As of 2:00 p.m. on September 21, he had not arrived at work at the Prosecutor General’s Office,” said Mariana Hajovska, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office.<\/p>\n

She noted that Kravchenko lost his administrative position as Prosecutor General, but continues to remain a prosecutor of the UCP.<\/p>\n

The UCP spokeswoman also reported that she does not have information about whether Kravchenko has returned to Ukraine and where he is now.<\/p>\n

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy removed Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Before that, Kravchenko said that he had signed a notice of suspicion to NABU Director Semen Kryvonos<\/a> . NABU stated that Kryvonos had not been officially served with suspicion, and called the Prosecutor General’s actions a continuation of a systemic attack on anti-corruption agencies.<\/p>\n

Later, the Prosecutor General’s Office denied the information about reporting suspicions to the head of NABU<\/a> . They reported that the corresponding marks in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations had been canceled.<\/p>\n

Also on September 14, it became known that Kravchenko went on a five-day business trip to Paris<\/a> . The purpose of the trip was stated to be participation in a hearing of the PACE parliamentary network.<\/p>\n
