Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to meet with US President Donald Trump in New York on September 22. The main topics of the talks include the end of the war, energy, strengthening Ukrainian air defense, and the possibility of producing Patriot missiles in Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Suspilne, citing a source in the President’s Office.<\/p>\n

According to the publication’s interlocutor, Zelensky plans to discuss with Trump previous meetings with US President’s special representative Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.<\/p>\n

The presidents will also talk about further diplomatic steps aimed at ending the Russian-Ukrainian war.<\/p>\n

A separate topic will be energy and possible solutions in this area in the context of efforts to end the war.<\/p>\n

In addition, Zelensky and Trump plan to discuss a “winter support” package for Ukraine. In particular, Kyiv is counting on additional air defense equipment.<\/p>\n

Another issue will be the possibility of licensed production in Ukraine of missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.<\/p>\n
