Newly elected Russian State Duma deputies, whose loved ones died during the war in Ukraine, are allegedly preparing a closed appeal to Russia’s military leadership. In it, they call for the withdrawal of units from one of the most heated areas of the front.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ukrainian partisan movement “ATESH” reported this.<\/p>\n

According to the movement, the deputies plan to appeal to Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov to withdraw Russian troops from problematic areas of the front. They believe this is necessary to preserve the lives of service members and maintain the control of their units.<\/p>\n

The appeal also allegedly refers to Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov. The deputies accuse the Russian military leadership of unprofessional decisions and systematically concealing actual losses in order to receive awards for the claimed capture of populated areas.<\/p>\n

We are talking about the north of the Donetsk region, in particular the Liman area, where, according to ATESH, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting Operation Vivaldi.<\/p>\n

It was from this area, as the movement claims, that Russian deputies learned of the significant losses of Russian troops.<\/p>\n

ATESH also cites its agents within the Russian Forces Group Center. According to their information, Ukrainian units have a significant technical advantage in this area.<\/p>\n

According to the movement, Russian military personnel particularly note the use of new robotic systems by the Ukrainian side.<\/p>\n

At the same time, information about the preparation of such an appeal, its authors and the assessments given in it come from ATESh and have no independent confirmation. <\/p>\n
