A World Health Organization compound in Chornomorsk, Odessa region, was damaged by Russian shelling. There were no people at the facility during the attack, so there were no injuries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the WHO representative office in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary information, the attack damaged a temperature-controlled room where medical supplies were stored. The WHO is currently assessing the extent of the damage.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth case of damage to the organization’s facilities in Ukraine in the last three months. In total, in 2026, the WHO recorded 21 attacks on facilities intended for storing medical supplies.<\/p>\n

The organization said it continues to adapt logistics and reroute medical supplies to minimize losses and ensure the continued provision of humanitarian assistance.<\/p>\n

“WHO in Ukraine continues to adapt logistical solutions for the supply of medical supplies to minimize losses and ensure the continuous provision of humanitarian medical assistance, while calling for the protection of vital medical supplies needed to meet the needs of vulnerable populations,” the organization said.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region, one of the main warehouses of the World Health Organization, where humanitarian medical supplies were stored, was damaged as a result of a nighttime Russian attack.<\/a><\/p>\n
