The Central Directorate for Innovation Activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which he oversaw, was also disbanded.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported by sources in the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as reported by &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/hromadske.ua\/viyskovi\/271429-u-drapatoho-ziavyvsia-novyy-zastupnyk-z-tsyfrovizatsiyi-nym-stav-arkhitektor-delty\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Public<\/a> &#8220;.<\/p>\n<p> Lebedenko held the position under the previous Commander-in-Chief, Alexander Syrsky. According to a source in the General Staff, his dismissal was preceded by an audit of the department&#8217;s work. The source claims that the leadership still has complaints about Lebedenko&#8217;s performance.<\/p>\n<p> Artem Martynenko, one of the architects of Delta, the key software system used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, has become the new Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Digitalization.<\/p>\n<p> On July 22, Lebedenko, along with other officers from the Central Directorate for Innovation Activities, held a final conference. At the time, the military reported that nearly 600 weapons and military equipment projects had been evaluated during the first half of 2026. More than 40 of these received state financial support.<\/p>\n<p> At the conference, Lebedenko also discussed work on developing unmanned systems. Specifically, he discussed fiber-optic UAVs with a range of over 50 km, autonomous and swarm drones, and systems using artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p> Furthermore, the general stated that laser and pulse weapons for countering air attacks could appear in Ukraine within two to three months.
