President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of more than 30 leading American companies and members of the Group of Economic Advisers in New York. They discussed support for the Ukrainian economy, new investments, and joint projects in the defense and energy sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head of state announced<\/a> this on social networks.<\/p>\n

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during the meeting with representatives of American business, the main attention was paid to Ukraine’s preparation for winter, strengthening the economy, and protecting the population.<\/p>\n

The President noted that Ukraine expects new investments in defense technologies and the launch of joint production. The parties also discussed the implementation of joint projects in the energy sector.<\/p>\n

“Security and economic stability are very closely related,” Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n

The Head of State emphasized that on the eve of the winter period, one of the key tasks is to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience in various areas. This includes, in particular, the economy, energy, and population protection.<\/p>\n

The meeting participants also discussed the creation of a sovereign wealth fund, war risk insurance, and financing opportunities for American investors.<\/p>\n

Zelensky thanked representatives of American business for their interest in Ukraine and support. According to him, the state is interested in further developing the partnership and implementing new joint projects.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with international partners during his visit to New York.<\/a> As a result of the meetings, Ukraine agreed with Australia on long-term security cooperation, and signed an agreement with Finland in the field of unmanned systems.
