British boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have finally agreed to a face-to-face fight, after years of negotiations. The fight will take place on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by Saudi boxing event organizer Turki Al al-Sheikh.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, Fury and Joshua have been trying to organize a fight for 15 years. Now the parties have finally agreed, and the fight will take place in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“I can now confirm that the Fury vs. Joshua fight will take place in the UK, as I promised British boxing fans. The time for talk is over,” Al-Sheikh said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fury and Joshua have been two of the biggest stars in the British heavyweight division for almost a decade. Their fight was talked about when both held the championship belts, but an in-ring encounter never materialized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Both Britons have lost to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk twice in recent years. Joshua lost to him in 2021 and 2022, and Fury twice in 2024.<\/p>\n

Organizers initially considered several venues for the fight, including New York and Saudi Arabia, before ultimately choosing the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.<\/p>\n

Fury has already called the upcoming fight a “homecoming” as his mother’s family has ties to Wales. Joshua also confirmed the fight by releasing an official poster on social media.<\/p>\n
