The average temperature during the month is expected to be at 6\u201312 \u00b0C, and the amount of precipitation will be close to the usual indicators for this period.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meteo.gov.ua\/ua\/Prohnoz-na-misyac\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.<\/p>\n<p> According to the forecast, 31\u201377 mm of precipitation may fall in Ukraine during October, and 51\u2013101 mm in the Carpathians. This will be about 80\u2013120% of the climatic norm.<\/p>\n<p> For comparison, the average long-term temperature in October in Ukraine is usually 6\u201313 \u00b0C. In the Carpathians it is lower \u2014 about 4\u20135 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p> A steady decrease in the average daily temperature below +8 \u00b0C usually begins in the third decade of October. In Chernihiv and Sumy regions, this occurs earlier &#8211; in the second decade. In the south of the country and Transcarpathia, such a transition usually occurs at the beginning of November.<\/p>\n<p> Frosts in the first half of October are a common occurrence in Ukraine. According to many years of observations, the lowest temperatures this month dropped to 7\u201316 \u00b0C below zero, and in some central regions, in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Bukovina regions \u2014 to 17.6\u201322.6 \u00b0C below zero.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, October is sometimes warm like summer. The absolute maximum temperature in different regions of Ukraine reached 25.6\u201335.3 \u00b0C. In the Carpathian highlands, the highest indicators were 19.7\u201326.7 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p> As for precipitation, its average long-term amount in October is 29\u201354 mm. In the Carpathians and the Crimean Mountains, this figure can reach 64\u201384 mm, and in Transcarpathia &#8211; 86\u2013106 mm.
