In Kyiv, a Russian attack damaged the data center of the telecommunications company Datagroup on September 25. The company’s employees were not injured, and client data was saved.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by Datagroup CEO Mykhailo Shelemba.<\/p>\n

“The main thing is that our employees were not injured,” Shelemba noted.<\/p>\n

According to him, all the company’s services continue to operate from backup sites. Specialists are assessing the damage and working to restore the infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The company is not currently specifying the extent of damage to the data center.<\/p>\n

It is worth recalling that earlier Russian strikes also damaged other objects of Kyiv’s digital infrastructure. In particular, the UTELS data center, the central data center of the “Pavutina” network were damaged, and the equipment of the hosting provider CityHost.UA and the data center where MiroHost’s facilities were located were also destroyed.<\/p>\n

There were also reports of problems with the Etherlink provider and damage to the Internet providers KIEVNET, “Domonet” and FAUST. According to the Crazy Network provider, then due to damage to the central data center for traffic exchange in Kyiv, some subscribers in Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions lost connection.<\/p>\n
