Poland has offered to locate a factory on its territory to produce Patriot missiles for Ukraine. Warsaw considers Polish territory safer for such a company, but a US license is required for production.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She stated this, RMF24<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

Polish Deputy Defense Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka said that if Ukraine receives permission from the United States to produce Patriot missiles, they propose to establish the enterprise in Poland.<\/p>\n

“If such a plant is planned to be built in Ukraine, we propose to build it on the territory of Poland so that it is located in the so-called safe territory,” said Sobkowiak-Czarnecka.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Poland is separately negotiating with the United States regarding the creation of a service center in the country, and later – the production of Patriot missiles.<\/p>\n

There is currently no concrete decision on the construction of a plant for Ukraine. The implementation of the project requires agreements with the United States and permission to use American technologies.<\/p>\n

Recall that US President Donald Trump, during his last meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that he had made a final decision to grant Ukraine a license to produce missiles for Patriot air defense systems<\/a> .<\/p>\n
