The elections in Serbia are scheduled for October 25, and until then, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ana Brnabi\u0107, will act as acting president.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/ru\/prezident-serbii-aleksandr-vucic-usel-v-otstavku-dla-borby-za-post-premera-na-parlamentskih-vyborah\/a-79450205\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DW<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> Vucic has led Serbia as president since 2017 and was re-elected in 2022. His second presidential term was due to end in 2027, and the Serbian Constitution does not allow one person to serve more than 2 terms as president.<\/p>\n<p> In early September, Vu\u010di\u0107 dissolved the National Assembly and called early parliamentary elections for October 25.
