SpaceX is preparing the first full orbital flight of the Starship rocket from Starbase in Texas. During the mission, the ship is expected to reach an orbit of about 275 kilometers, make 6 revolutions around the Earth and deploy 26 next-generation Starlink satellites.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The launch was scheduled for September 28 at 15:48 Kyiv time. Starship, about 124 meters tall, consists of a spacecraft and a Super Heavy booster with 33 engines. Both stages are designed for multiple use.<\/p>\n

During the current mission, the Super Heavy will operate for about 2 minutes before separating. Starship will complete its main acceleration more than 8 minutes after launch, then fire its engines for about 20 seconds to enter a circular orbit.<\/p>\n

After 6 orbits around the Earth, the spacecraft will perform a braking impulse and begin a controlled return to Earth. The landing is planned to be made in the Pacific Ocean west of Chile, while the Super Heavy is to perform a simulated landing in the Gulf of Mexico. <\/p>\n
