Lithuanian Interior Minister Martynas Katelyanas, at the request of Foreign Minister K\u0119stutis Budris, decided to add Usmanov and Fridman to the list of &#8220;persona non grata.&#8221; The Migration Department then added them to the relevant list.<\/p>\n<p> The entry ban will be in effect for five years. In the future, the Lithuanian authorities will be able to review the restrictions and extend them.<\/p>\n<p> Latvia and Estonia also plan to impose national sanctions against Usmanov and Fridman.<\/p>\n<p> Lithuania made this decision after the European Union removed two Russian billionaires from its sanctions lists.<\/p>\n<div class=\"full-post__content font-rules\">\n<p> It was previously reported <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/brytaniia-zalyshyt-sanktsii-proty-usmanova-ta-fridmana-popry-rishennia-yes\/\">that the UK will not lift sanctions on Russian billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman<\/a> , even though the European Union has decided to remove them from the sanctions list. Prime Minister Andy Burnham told Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting in New York.<\/p>\n<p> As a reminder, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/krainy-yes-pohodyly-zniattia-sanktsiy-z-rosiyskykh-biznesmeniv-usmanova-ta-fridmana\/\">ambassadors from all 27 EU countries have agreed to lift sanctions on Russian businessmen Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman<\/a> .
