Russian strikes on energy infrastructure have caused new power outages in five regions and Kyiv. Emergency restoration work has already begun where the security situation allows.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by Ukrenergo.<\/p>\n

As of the morning of September 30, consumers in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions, as well as in Kyiv, were left without electricity. Air strikes are ongoing in some regions.<\/p>\n

At the same time, electricity consumption decreased. As of 09:30, it was 2.1% lower<\/strong> than at the same time the day before.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo explained that the reason is clear weather in almost all regions of Ukraine, except for some eastern regions. Thanks to this, household solar power plants work more efficiently, which reduces the amount of electricity consumed from the general network.<\/p>\n

At the same time, on September 29, the evening daily maximum consumption was 1.3% higher<\/strong> than the previous day’s maximum.<\/p>\n

Ukrainians were urged to postpone the use of powerful electrical appliances to the period from 10:00 to 16:00<\/strong> , when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently.<\/p>\n

Ukrenergo emphasized that the situation in the power system may change, so consumers are advised to monitor messages from their distribution system operators.<\/p>\n
