The OSCE will hold a special meeting on October 1 regarding the situation in occupied Oleshki in the Kherson region. About 2,000 people remain there, including about 50 children.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga.<\/p>\n

According to him, people cannot safely leave the city and get the necessary assistance. There is no electricity and gas in Oleshki, and there are problems with the delivery of food, medicine, and other necessary things.<\/p>\n

Sibiga said that Russia is not allowing humanitarian missions into the city and is preventing the evacuation of civilians. International organizations are ready to help people, but they cannot enter the occupied territory.<\/p>\n

Ukraine has already raised the situation in Oleshki with the UN. On September 23, Sibiga called on the international community to demand from Russia access to humanitarian aid and the ability to evacuate people.<\/p>\n

Now this issue will be raised at the OSCE. Ukraine will talk about the conditions in which people live in the occupied city, and will call for access for humanitarian missions and the safe evacuation of civilians.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said that Russia is creating a humanitarian blockade on the temporarily occupied left-bank Kherson region. The most difficult situation, he said, has developed in Oleshki, where about 2,000 people have been left without electricity, gas, and regular supplies of food and medicine.<\/a><\/p>\n

Let us remind you that the humanitarian situation in occupied Oleshki in the Kherson region has become critical. The last time food was officially delivered to the city was on May 26, and now there are cases when people are forced to eat dogs due to hunger<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used drones to deliver about 4 tons of food to temporarily occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region<\/a> . The food was dropped on 100 designated locations, where about 2,000 people, including almost 50 children, remain without access to food, drinking water, and electricity.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that Russian military personnel in occupied Oleshki are taking local products that Ukrainian military personnel drop from drones<\/a> . The presence of non-Russian food can also be a reason for a person to be detained and accused of collaborating with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
