It will be valid until the end of 2026 under the same conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rts.rs\/vesti\/ekonomija\/6051955\/srbija-rusija-gas-aranzman-.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Serbian television and radio company RTS, citing the head of the state-owned gas company &#8220;Srbijagas&#8221;, Du\u0161an Bayatovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p> The previous agreement expired on September 30. Without a new decision, gas supplies under the current conditions would be in question.<\/p>\n<p> According to Bajatovi\u0107, Serbia will maintain the current &#8220;favorable conditions&#8221; of supply.<\/p>\n<p> Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic previously said that the country was buying Russian gas at 318 euros per 1,000 cubic meters. According to him, the market price is about 868 euros.<\/p>\n<p> Before the extension of the agreement, Vu\u010di\u0107 had a phone conversation with Vladimir Putin. After the conversation, he expressed hope that the gas agreement could be extended.<\/p>\n<p> Serbia is heavily dependent on Russian gas. After a three-year contract expired in 2025, Belgrade and Moscow failed to agree on a new long-term deal.
