Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the United States has proposed that Ukraine and Russia hold a trilateral meeting at the technical level by the end of October. The Ukrainian side has confirmed its readiness to join such a format of negotiations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said this while talking to journalists.<\/p>\n

According to the president, the American side is in contact with Ukraine and Russia regarding holding a meeting in a trilateral format.<\/p>\n

“The American side is in contact with Ukraine and Russia today and proposes to hold a meeting in a trilateral format at the technical level by the end of October. I confirmed to them yesterday that our side is ready to support it by the end of October,” Zelensky said.<\/p>\n

The President noted that Ukraine is ready to hold negotiations in the United Arab Emirates or in another country proposed by the American side.<\/p>\n

“In principle, there is no new information here. We are open to the Emirates or to another country proposed by the American side. I know that they will offer this to the Russian side as well, or have already offered it – I don’t know the procedure – and we will wait for a response. We are reacting positively to the negotiations,” Zelensky added.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the US wants to bring together representatives of Ukraine and Russia at one table in October<\/a> to agree on stopping attacks on energy facilities. The American side should also join the negotiations, and the meeting could be held in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

By the way, Turkey and the UN are preparing new negotiations between Ukraine and Russia on a ceasefire in the Black Sea<\/a> . The agreement is supposed to protect grain ships, as well as ports and energy facilities from attacks.<\/p>\n
