These include a college of unmanned and intelligent engineering, as well as two colleges for training non-commissioned officers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by<a href=\"https:\/\/interestingengineering.com\/ai-robotics\/china-readies-military-for-robotic-warfare\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Interesting Engineering<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> The new educational institutions should prepare technical personnel and officers who will be able to use modern technologies in future combat operations.<\/p>\n<p> In particular, the College of Unmanned and Intelligent Engineering will train military personnel in drones, autonomous systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, sensors, and communications, as well as integrating these technologies into units.<\/p>\n<p> The publication notes that Beijing is considering the creation of such institutions as part of a plan to modernize the People&#8217;s Liberation Army. China plans to fully modernize its armed forces by 2035 and create a world-class army by mid-century.<\/p>\n<p> Two colleges have been established separately to train non-commissioned officers. The Combat Support College will train military personnel to work with combat systems, communications, engineering systems, electronic warfare, and reconnaissance equipment.<\/p>\n<p> The Technical Support College will train specialists to service and maintain complex weapons, military equipment, drones, and electronic systems.<\/p>\n<p> Another institution is the College of Discipline Inspection, Law and Politics at the National Defense University in Xi&#8217;an.
