Specifically, students will be able to earn up to three professional qualifications, and at least 40% of curricula will consist of practical training.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Prime Minister Sergei Koretsky announced this.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, the main goal of the changes is to prepare qualified specialists needed by the Ukrainian labor market and economy.<\/p>\n<p> The government has approved a new standard for vocational education. Vocational colleges will be given greater autonomy in developing their educational programs, and training will be integrated with the European credit system.<\/p>\n<p> A new funding formula for vocational colleges is expected to come into effect in 2027. Each institution will receive a baseline amount of funding, with a portion based on its performance.<\/p>\n<p> Specifically, the demand for professions in the region, the number of applicants, the graduate employment rate, and the institution&#8217;s ability to attract additional funding will be taken into account. According to the Prime Minister, better indicators will lead to greater funding. This decision is one of the indicators of Ukraine&#8217;s cooperation with the World Bank.<\/p>\n<p> Furthermore, the government plans to expand academic mobility.
