Budapest is ready not to hinder the opening of two more clusters, but final political support will depend on Kyiv&#8217;s fulfillment of the condition on the rights of national minorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/b6f7aa99-9672-479d-8e7c-c3d103204cc6\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is reported by<\/a> the Financial Times, citing European officials.<\/p>\n<p> According to the publication, Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar instructed Hungarian diplomats not to block sending letters to Ukraine and Moldova regarding the possible opening of the next two negotiation clusters.<\/p>\n<p> These are areas related to the internal market and competitiveness.<\/p>\n<p> This is a procedural step, but in Brussels it is seen as a signal that Budapest is ready to ease the blockade on further progress by Ukraine and Moldova at this stage.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, Hungary&#8217;s agreement to a technical step does not yet mean full political support.<\/p>\n<p> According to the FT, Budapest&#8217;s final position will depend on whether the Verkhovna Rada adopts a bill to expand the educational rights of national minorities.<\/p>\n<p> The issue of the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia has long remained one of the key issues in negotiations between Kyiv and Budapest.<\/p>\n<p> If the Verkhovna Rada supports the bill, the official political process of opening new clusters could begin before the next EU leaders&#8217; summit.<\/p>\n<p> The Financial Times notes that after this, Ukraine and Moldova will have two more unopened negotiation clusters &#8211; on green policy and agriculture.<\/p>\n<p> Previously, <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/uhorshchyna-hotova-rozblokuvaty-dva-klastery-dlia-ukrainy-nazvano-umovu\">Hungary had already agreed to unblock two negotiation clusters for Ukraine, subject to amendments to the Law &#8220;On Education&#8221;<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/yes-znovu-sprobuie-vidkryty-perehovorni-klastery-dlia-ukrainy-uhorshchyna-vystupaie-proty\">The EU also repeatedly tried to promote the opening of negotiation clusters for Ukraine, but Hungary opposed it<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> Also follow <strong>\u201cPryamim\u201d<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pryamiy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/prm_ua\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">X<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/+rtV4dxYu2_cyNjVi\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Telegram<\/a> , and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pryamiy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hungary may stop blocking Ukraine&#8217;s technical progress in the negotiations on accession to the European Union.
